About Our Youth Group

Our Mission

Our youth group is dedicated to empowering young people to become confident, compassionate, and responsible individuals. We provide a safe and supportive environment where youth can develop leadership skills, build meaningful relationships, and make a positive impact in their communities.

Our Story

Our youth group began around 2010, founded by Jackie McDonnell and Lori Farrell with a shared vision to create a welcoming, safe space where like-minded young people could come together. Their goal was to build a community rooted in faith, friendship, and fun-offering youth a place to connect, grow spiritually, and support one another in a positive, uplifting environment.

What We Do

Community Service

Annual Mission Trip where we volunteer at shelters, food banks, and community centers in less fortunate communities.

Educational Workshops

Skills development in areas like financial literacy, career planning, and digital skills.

Social Activities

Fun events including game nights, movie screenings, outdoor adventures, and holiday celebrations.

Leadership Development

Opportunities to lead projects, mentor peers, and participate in leadership retreats.

Meet Our Team

Don Peck

Director of Youth/ Young Adult Ministries

Don has been working with our youth group for over 20 years and teaches High School and Middle School Sunday School.

Jackie McDonnell

Director of Sunday School/ Children's Ministry

Jackie has been teaching Sunday School and involved with Children's and Youth Programs for over 20 years.

Join Us

We welcome youth grades 6 to 12 to join our group. No experience necessary - just bring your enthusiasm!

We meet every Monday from 7:00-8:15 PM in the Parish Hall.
